How People Make Money with Survey Sites?
Yep, many people face surveys as the #1 option to make money online. Some start with MLM’s, Adsense or affiliate promotions. But surveys are one of the most popular money making on the internet ways and I decided to write my own take on this. So how do people make money with surveys?
Frankly, I have no idea.
Seriously, I’ve subscribed to numerous survey websites. Some more legit than the others. But one thing that makes me wonder is whether there is anyone making real money with surveys.
If you’re unsure of how they work. It’s simple. These sites gather advertisers who pay money per completed survey. It ranges from $0.10 to $50 in rare cases. The survey site takes a cut and you keep the rest. Big advertisers make surveys all the time to better understand the market and customer needs. It makes sense to them to just pay the money for it. And if you fall into the right demographics, then you’ll get to fill the survey and earn cash.
However, you don’t earn cash. You earn points. Those points you can exchange into cash or prizes later. Ok, so far so good. But wait a minute, do you know how much money you actually make per survey? From the sites I’ve been subscribed to, on average you get 30-100 points per survey. This equates to a whopping $0.30 to $2. Of course you can make $50 for filling one survey, but that’s extremely rare.
Now interesting thing is that you don’t get 100 surveys a day to make a living. Nope. You get anywhere from 2 to 10 surveys PER WEEK. Wow, let’s try to calculate how much money would that make us:
$0.70 for a survey x 5 surveys = $3.50 a week
Wow, you may want to call your bank and tell them not to shut down your account once the checks start flooding in next week. Seriously, this is ridiculous. Not sure about you, but I would waste my time filling surveys just to make a few pennies. Even if you subscribe to 50 survey sites. It will take months until you make enough money to cash the check. And that’s only if most of those sites are legit. From my experience, for every good site, there are 3 scammy ones. You go figure.
Can a mom raising two children make a living or at least add enough income to help the family with survey sites? No. Can you at least make some money on breakfast each morning? No. then why would you waste your time?
Frankly, while not all these sites are scam, it seems that the whole idea is. Survey companies force you into believing that you can make decent cash with their program. But you barely make anything. It’s ridiculous. Seriously, if you make at least few hundred dollars a month taking surveys, please let me know so I could review the opportunity myself. I haven’t stumbled upon such a site myself.
So if you are one of those people taking surveys and thinking that one day you’ll make thousands, get real. Instead, learn about affiliate marketing. This is legitimate way to make money. But it’s not a job. It’s business. You will have to go and put a lot of effort if you want something from it. Just like anything in your life basically. But in affiliate marketing, you make anywhere from $1 for making someone fill in their email address to $100 for letting someone join an auction. Refer few people a day and you’re already ripping benefits. Real and substantial amounts of money and not just pennies for hard work.
