Where to Start Making Money Online?
When it comes to internet, there are many ways to make a living with it. One of the most popular ones is to become an affiliate of someone else’s product and promote it online. People have made empires using this model and aren’t planning to do anything else. Why it works?
- No customer support
- No angry customer complaints
- Low startup costs
- Freedom
- Sky is the limit
Just a few benefits, but it really is a dream come true if you do it right.
How Affiliate Game Works?
As mentioned before, you simply join a company or a network that has hundreds of companies and simply promote their products for a commission. But here’s where it gets tricky – promotion. In online it means traffic. You need real people to actually see your promotion, clicks your affiliate link and buy the product so you make a commission.
Where Should I Start?
There are many markets to choose from. I suggest to start with CJ (Commission Junction) or ClickBank. Both of these companies provide great legitimate products for affiliates to promote and you make a commission every time someone makes a purchase. With CJ, you’ll find plenty of companies offering money for free registrations, such as loan or auto insurance leads. All they need to do is fill in a short form and you get paid $4 to $20 commission. Can you imagine what you can make by simply telling people to put a few lines of code on their computer screens? Amazing money for sure.
Promotion Tips
For promotion I’ve talked about this in my other articles. But basically, you need to think where your target market, or people you’re selling to, are hanging out. Will you reach them on Facebook or search engines. Of course Facebook has insane targeting options. You can promote to people on their birthdays, know their age and gender. This is hard to beat. You can make great living if you hit the nail. Search engines offer perfect quality visitors as these people are already interested in buying your product. Problem is competition. It’s more than fierce. You are most likely to get slaughtered
You could build a small blog and start posting comments on related blogs or forums. The more people you help out, the more recognition you’ll get. Even with only a few visitors a day you can start making few sales a week. Always depends on the market.
